Target Motion Tracking Using Target-oriented Corrdinates

We propose a new target motion modeling method usingtarget-oriented coordinates by decomposing the ac- celeration intothe target's moving direction component and its orthogonal component.We apply this physically more rational target-oriented modelassumption to representative IMMPDAF scenarios and show that thetracking error is reduced by up to 14/100.
