Limestone Coast water tables come under the research spotlight

The CRC for Irrigation Futures (CRCIF), lead by CEO Ian Atkinson, former CRC for Viticulture technical applications manager, has teamed up with The Department of Water, Land and Biodiversity Conservation (DWLBC) to conduct research on the Limestone Coast region South Australia. As part of the CRCIF's formulated research plan for the second half of its term, which finishes 30 June 2010, research is being conducted in four key regions in order to ground the research into local business opportunities. According to Ian Atkinson, the region-specific research is part of the CRCIF's 'System Harmonisation Program'.
