摘要

Children don't climb trees or play outside as much as they used to. But what can we do about it? "I worry that some species will probably die out," said nine-year-old Michael Armstrong, "like spiders. If the spiders go extinct, there will be a lot offlies." Michael lives in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, where there are "lots of roads and quite a few houses". But his home is near a farm, where he often walks with his elder sister Gabriela, to see "sheep and birds, butterflies and lakes, and fish and frogs". He goes on wildlife adventures with his dad, Tony, too.
