Current Efficacy Status of Imidacloprid Formulations Against Okra Leafhopper, Amrasca biguttula bfguttula

Among the vegetable crops grown in India, okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench) is one of the important commercially cultivated vegetable crops grown throughout the year. It is cultivated in an area of 4.32 lakh hectares with an annual production of45.2 lakh tons and in Karnataka it is cultivated in an area of 8100 hectares with a production of 73.1 thousand tones (Anonymous, 2009).
