Several muscle lesions, including myopathy (1), myalgias and muscle contractures (2), and myasthenia gravis (3), have been occasionally reported in Addison's disease. Rhabdomyolysis is, however, a rare complication (4), and the mechanism is still not clearly defined. We present a case where the symptoms due to severe rhabdomyolysis actually brought the patient to a medical attention.
