IFFCO Kisan Sanchar Limited (IKSL) was launched with an aim to use Information Communication Technology (ICT) to empower fanners in the rural villages and strengthen the cooperative network across the country with pertinent and high quality information and services in areas like soil management, crop management, dairy and animal husbandry management, horticulture and vegetable management, plant protection, market rates, weather forecasts information, human and cattle health, employment opportunities, government schemes etc. through affordable communication network in a sustainable manner and to work concertedly to develop content and services which will improve informed decision making by people living in Indian villages.
