IPA 203A Promising Variety of lone-duration pigeonpea

Long-duration pigeonpea is an important component of rainfed agriculture in the NEPZ of India. In these regions, it is often inter-cropped with tall cereals such as maize, sorghum and pearl millet, which calls for development of varieties with compact plant types nicely fitting into the prevailing inter-cropping systems of these areas.
