Separation of isotopes, production of vitamins, etc. require highly developed surface of the contact of interacting flows. A significant importance for realization and forecasting of processes of heat and mass transfer have geometry features of packing used in this process. Results of analysis and generalization of literature and our own experimental data on the geometry features, hydraulic resistance and efficiency of packing with highly developed specific surface are reported in this work. The main basis for analysis were the data of articles, reviews and monographs 1-10.
