As the shift to digital terrestrial broad-casting continue to move forward, companies in the broadcast industry are looking forward once again for this year's International Broadcasting Equipment Exhibition (InterBEE), which has been showcasing the latest industry trends both in Japan and in overseas. Following the record-breaking success last year, the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JE1TA) announced that the InterBEE 2009 would be held from November 18 to 20 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. This year's exhibition will mark the latest developments in the shift to digital broadcasting, which have been spreading rapidly around the world. Although it has briefly postponed the shift to digital broadcasting, the United States expects to switch-off its analog broadcast within this year, while Japan moves forward for the complete transition.
