摘要

This paper presents a FFT-design of three-dimensional(3-D)FIR cone-filter for the wideband cone-beamforming using hexagonal array sensors, the number of which are less than that of rectangular array sensors an area. The method is based on the 3-D descrete Fourier series approximation, but for the extremely saved calculation, hexagonal fast Fourier transform (HFFT) and usual 1-D FFT are used. The computer program of HFFT is developed from hexagonal discrete Fourier transform (HDFT) according to the reference. It is demonstrated that the symmetrical amplitude responce of cone-filter gives more reduced computation.
