Several rules of the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) were at issue in this dispute regarding a surface location for an oil and gas well. In Chase v. Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, 2012 COA 94,284 P.3d 161, the Colorado Court of Appeals reviewed a district court decision from the City and County of Denver, which had affirmed a COGCC order.
