摘要

DNA was extracted from young leaves (15-day-old) of 5 wheat lines/cultivars (Raj 1482, Raj 3077, CCNRV 4, Raj MR 1 and AUS 15854), of which Raj 1482 and Raj 3077 were susceptible while Raj MR 1, CCNRV 4 and AUS 15854 were resistant. Both resistant and susceptible lines produced variation in the RAPD patterns with OPA 11 primer. It amplified a total of 4 bands in the 5 cultivars used, of which 2 bands were polymorphic while 2 bands were monomorphic. A 900 bp fragment was amplified, which was unique and occurred only in resistant cultivars.
