The Brothers Lumiegrave;re Pioneers in medical photography

摘要

A brief historical sketch of the brothers Lumiegrave;re, the inventors of the cineacute;matographe, is presented. Particular emphasis is placed on their perfection of ldquo;Autochromes,rdquo; photographic plates suitable for color photography, and on their foresight in putting these advances to use in medical illustrations.
