摘要

A few complexes of N~1-nicotinoyl-N~4-benzoyl-3-thiosemicarbazide with Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cr(III) and Fe(III) have been synthesized and characterized and characterized byelemental analyses, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility and UV-VIS, IR, ESR, NMR (~1H and ~13C), FAB mass, solid state electrical conductivity and Mossbauer data. The ligand and the metal complexes have been screened against several bacteria, fungi and also for their in-vitro antitumor activity.
