Right-Angled Isosceles TriangularT-Junctions and their Applications in Stripline Power Dividers

Right-angled isosceles triangular shaped microstrip and stripline T-junctions with impedance ratio (l/#x221a;2): 1:1 have been shown to exhibit lower parasitic reactances as compared to the junctions with rectangular geometry normally used. Two-dimensional analysis is used for optimizing in-phase power dividers using these junctions. Designs for three types of power divider circuits are discussed.
