Glyoxalase I polymorphism and racial admixture in the Cuban population

摘要

The polymorphism of glyoxalase I (GLO I) was demonstrated in the three main racial groups (Caucasian, Mulattoes, and Negroes) of the Cuban population. The GLO I gene frequencies were used to estimate the relative contribution of Negro and Caucasian genes to the genetic makeup of these three groups.
