ACOUSTOhyphen;OPTICAL MEASUREMENTS OF ACOUSTIChyphen;WAVE GENERATION IN PIEZOELECTRICS COUPLED TO A GUNN OSCILLATOR

摘要

The acoustichyphen;wave generation in LiNbO3coupled to a GaAs Gunn oscillator was studied acoustohyphen;optically. Domain propagation along thexaxis of LiNbO3produces ayhyphen;propagatingS6wave whose frequency is equal to the Gunn oscillator frequency. TheS6wave causes the deflection and the polarization rotation of light normally incident upon thexyplane. The effect is very attractive for its applications to acoustohyphen;optic devices.
