Development of aqua-soluble compounds based on vitamin A series molecules:Synthetic transformations of beta-ionone

摘要

Several beta-ionyl compounds bearing hydrophilic moieties like a carbohydrate,amine,phosphate and amino acid have been prepared and characterized.The solubilisation behaviour of these compounds has been examined by studying their UV-Vis absorption behaviour in micelles.
