A Study of the Photometric Reaction of Phenol Nitrosation

摘要

Photometric reaction of phenol nitrosation was studied. It was found that, depending on the reaction conditions, various products are formed, including dinitrophenol. The reaction kinetics is described by two consecutive reactions. The activation energies of the first and second stages are 63 and 163 kJ mol~(-1), respectively.
