Diels-Alder reaction of pyran-2(H)-ones: Part III~+-The Diels-Alder reactions of 4,6-disubstituted pyran-2(H)-ones withnapthoquinone and N-phenylmaleimideon montmorillonite K10, engethard filtrol-24 and pyrophyllite clays

摘要

The Diels-Alder reactions of 4,6-disubstituted pyran-2(H)-ones with naphthoquinone and N-phenylmaleimide have been carried out very efficiently under Dry State Adsorption Conditions by adsorbing the reactants on the clays namely, montmorillonite K10, engehard filtrol-24 and pyrophllite at much lowere temperatures as compared to the convential methods.
