摘要

Black Veatch (Kansas City, Mo.; www.bv.com) is a broad-based, global engineering, consulting, program management and construction company with 2005 revenues totaling nearly $1.6 billion, including $728.4 million that Engineering News Record magazine categorizes as derived from environmental work. The company's global water business accounts for better than 80 of this total and has played a key role in many of the most advanced water and wastewater projects around the world, including the $90-million Tuas-Singapore Seawater Desalination Project, which won an EBJ Project Merit award in 2005. Dan McCarthy is president and CEO of Black Veatch's global water business.
