摘要

In a pot experiment conducted during November to February, 2006 with chickpea as test crop, application of pressmud @ 10 t ha~(-1) with DAP @ 100 kg ha~(-1) significantly increased plant height, nodule and pod numbers/pot, leaf-chlorophyll, grain-protein and grain yield over control and found to be superior than other treatments comprising of pressmud/sawdust/compost/sludge @5 or 10 t ha~(-1) with DAP @ 100 kg ha~(-1), whereas sawdust treatments decreased pH and bulk density of post-harvest soil. Despite increase in nodule-Fe and Mn by sludge application, it did not reflect on yield parameters of chickpea.
