THE PRODUCTION OF N AND P2O5 AT. 0.953 and 0.307 million tonnes during July 2008, recorded a decline of 1.9% and 19.4%, respectively, over July 2007. The production of DAP and SSP declined by 51.3% and 22.5%, respectively, during July'08 over July'07. However, the production of urea and NP/NPK complex fertilisers showed an increase of 2.5% and 37%, respectively, during the period.
