Farmers Meeting

Indian Potash Limited, Regional Office, Bhopal organized a farmers meeting at village Chapora, district Burhanpur, M.P. on 6th March 2013. More than 300 farmers from adjoining villages attended the programme. Mr. M.S. Devke, Dy. Director Agriculture, Burhanpur was the Chief Guest. In his address, Mr. Devika emphasized on soil test based fertilisers use and use of organic manure alongwith chemical fertilisers to maintain soil health and crop productivity. He advised the farmers for advance purchase of fertilisers for ensuring Kharif season to create the space for storage for upcoming supply of fertilisers. He informed about the subsidy schemes being implemented by State Department of Agriculture for agriculture implements, drip irrigation, zinc sulphate, production of vermi compost and green manuring etc.
