PRODUCTION OF N AT 0.920 MILLION tonnes during Feb.'10 recorded a growth of 10.1% over Feb.'09. The production of P jumped by 84.7% from a low base of 0.163 million tonnes during Feb.'09 to 0.301 million tonnes during Feb.'10. Production of urea recorded a marginal increase of 2.3% during Feb.'10 over Feb.'09. The production of DAP and' NP/NPK complex fertilisers showed sharp increase of 103.5% and 114.4%, respectively, during the period. The production of SSP witnessed a decline of 39.7% during the period.
