Synthesis of some new phenothiazinothiadiazoles and their azetidinones: Antifungal agents

A series of 2-arylideneamino-5-(N~1--phenothiazinomethyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazoles 4a-k have been synthesised via conden-sation of 2-amino-5-(N~10-phenothiazinomethyl)-1,3,4-thia-diazole 3 with various carbonyl compounds. Cyclo-thiazino-methyl)-1',3',4'-thiadiazol-2'-yl]-4-substituted-2-azeantifungal activity.
