摘要

An Ocimum sanctum seed based matrix for immobilisation of enzymes has been developed. The #alpha#-rhamnosidase activity of naringinase has been immobilised on this newly developed matrix. K_m,pH and temperature optima of the immobilized enzyme using p-nitrophenyl-#alpha#-L-rhammopyranoside as the substrate have been determin3ed and found to be 0.17 mM,4.0 and 60deg C respectively.
