摘要

A bimetallic complex Co~(II)V~(IV) L~(2+) has been synthesized with binucleating macrocyclic ligand prepared by condensing 2 equiv.of 2,6-diformyl-4-methylphenol with 2 equiv.of 1,2-phenylenediamine.This has been immobilized by covalently binding it on a carbamate modified alumina,support.The TGA analysis of the final catalyst shows that it is thermally stable up to 251 deg C and it has been shown that it serves as an oxidation catalyst for n-octane oxidation.During the reaction,there is no change of molecular structure (i.e.,absence of cracking or isomerization) and the four oxidative products are 2-octanone (1.5%),3-octanone (1.2%),octanol (2.6%) and octanoic acid (0.5%) at 150 deg C.
