摘要

A new copper(II)complex has been synthesized by the reaction of copper nitrate with 2,2'-bipyridine and potassium oxalate in aqueous solution.X-ray diffraction analysis indicates that the title complex crystallizes in monoclinic system,space group PZ_1 with a=7.717(3)A,b=10.221(3)A,c=16.582(5)A,beta=100.110(5)deg ,V=1287.5(7)A~3,Mr=687.53,Z=2,Dc=1.773 g/cm~3,lambda=0.71073 A,mu(MoKa)=1.729 mm~(-1)and F(000)=696.The final R and wR factors for the observed reflections with I>2sigma(I)are 0.0255 and 0.0610,respectively.The dinuclear complex consists of a coordination cation [Cu_2(C_2O_4)(2,2'-bpy)2(H_2O)_2]~(2+)and two NO_3~-anions.Each copper(II)atom is five-coordinated in a distorted tetragonal pyramidal geometry.
