Ellagic acid derivatives from the leaves of Eugenia jambos Linn

摘要

From the methanolic extract of the leaves of Eugenia jambos, a new ellagic acid derivative, 3, 3',4'-tri-O-methylellagic acid-4-O-#beta#-D-glucopyranoside has been isolated along with 3,3',4'-triO-methylellagic acid. Its structure has been elucidated mainly on the basis of 2D NMR spectral analyses and chemical correlation.
