Synthesis and biological activity of N-aroyl-N'-carboxyalkyl thiourea derivatives

Ten new N-aroyl-N'-carboxyalkyl thiourea derivatives have been prepared in modest to good yield via the reaction of aroyl isothiocuyanates and amino acids. The products ave been characterized on the basis of analytical and spectral (IR and ~1H NMR) data. The promoting effects of some of the compounds o wheat growth have been tested preliminary.
