Isolation of two flavonol glycosides from the seeds of Acacia nilotica

Two new flavonol glycosides via. 5-hydroxy-7,4'-dimethoxy-8-isoprenylflavone-3-O-#beta#-D-xylopyranoside and 5,7,3',4'-tetrahydroxy-6,8,2'-trimethoxyflavone-3-O-#alpha#-L-rhamnosyl (1->2)-O-#beta#-D-glucopyranoside have been isolated from the seeds of Acacia nilotica (Linn). The structure of these glycosides have been estabished on the baiss of chemical and spectral evidences.
