Recently, DME and GTL have been attracted much attention as vehicle fuels. These synthetic fuels can be made out from natural gas, coal, and biomass. These are alternative to diesel fuel and which consist of low sulphur and aromatic contents. This paper describes the circumstances of research and development as well as their using problems in engine and their solutions.
