Preparation of N, 2-diaryldiazenecarbox-amides under solvent-free condition using active manganese dioxide on acidic silica gel as the oxidant

摘要

A mild and efficient synthesis of N, 2-diaryldiazenecarbox-amides (ArNHCON=NPh) can be easily achieved by the oxidation of aryl substituted semicarbazides (ArNHCOHNHPh) using active manganese dioxide on sulfuric acid silica gel as the oxidant under solvent-free conditions.
