Bosch, Valeo and Hella were all displaying their latest generation gas discharge headlights and intelligent front lighting that react to different light and weather conditions. The latter also announced that its lighting concept CELIS (Central Lighting System) was now ready for series production. Recognising that the light from a car's sidelights are swamped when the headlights are turned on, Hella has developed a light module that it says will become a design and identification feature on future generations of vehicles and emphasise the individual appearance of a vehicle even at night.
