Nutrients are required for growth and development of plants.These are supplied through organic and fertiliser sources.Crop-wise Plant Nutrient Prescription is important for increasing foodgrain production and maintaining soil fertility for sustainable agriculture.CPNP should consider its availability at consuming points.Mining of nutrients from soil need to be prevented for sustainable agriculture.Paper highlights a pragmatic approach towards CPNP.
