FAI Training Programme on Risk Assessment and Management in Fertiliser Industry

FAI organized a Training Programme on RiskAssessment during 18-19 October 2011 at Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Dr. Rajeev Chemburkar, President, (Chemicals), Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Limited, Vasi , Navi Mumbai inaugurated the workshop. The programme was attended by 27 participants from 14 fertiliser units / officesDr. Rajeev Chemburkar, in his inaugural address pointed out that while risk can be evaluated before hand , managed, mitigated and reduced but it can never be eliminated. The magnitude of risk depends upon its probability and impact. He elaborated with few simple examples the concept of risks assessment and its management.
