Synthesis and characterization of 1D complexes [Na(DC18C6-A)]_2[M(i-mnt)_2] (M = Ni,Pd,Pt)

Three inorganic-organic hybrid complexes [Na(DC18C6-A)]_2[M(i-mnt)_2] (DC18C6-A = cis-syn-cis-dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6,isomer A;M = Ni,1;Pd,2;Pt,3;i-mnt = l,l-dicyanoethene-2,2-dithiolate,isomaleonitriledithiolate) were synthesized by the reactions of dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6 with Na_2(i-mnt) and NiCl_2,PdCl_2 and Na_2PtCl_4,respectively,and characterized by elementary analysis,FT-IR and UV-vis spectroscopy.The crystal structures were determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction.Complexes 1-3 all crystallize triclinic,space group P T with crystallographic data:1,a = 10.19(4) k,b= 11.92(4) A,c= 12.58(5) A,alpha = 102.21(6)~°,beta = 108.89(5)~°,gamma = 99.70(6)~°,V= 1366.5(9) A~3,Z = l,D_(catcd)= 1.373 g/cm~3,F(OOO) = 598,R_1 = 0.0440,wR_2 = 0.0982.2,a = 10.18(6) A,b = 11.99(7) A,c = 12.60(7) A,a = 102.79(10)~°,beta = 109.12(3)~°,gamma= 99.02(10)~°,V= 1367.6(13) A~3,Z= 1,D_(calcd)= 1.430 g/cm~3,F(000) = 616,R_1 = 0.0574,wR_2 = 0.1204 and 3,a= 10.23(15) A,b= 12.02(18) A,c = 12.64(19) A,a = 102.87(16)~°,beta = 109.19(2)~°,gamma = 99.14(2)~°,V= 1384(4) A~3,Z= 1,D_(calcd)= 1.519 g/cm~3,F(OOO) = 648,R_1 = 0.0316,wR_2 = 0.0587.Three complexes are isomorphous and all display an infinite 1D chain-like structure formed by [Na(DC18C6-A)]~+complex cations and [M(i-mnt)_2]~(2-) (M= Ni,Pd,Pt) complex anions through N-Na-N interactions.
