New rodent repellent and UV resistant nylon tapes for aircraft arrester net

摘要

A new rodent replellent and UV resistant nylon tape for fabrication of fighter aircraft arrester net has been developed. Oleoresin, a sensoty irritant from natural sources has been used along with black carbon and butyl recinoleate. These tapes have been found to be effective against rodents under laboratory conditions.
