This paper discusses dynamic map synthesis with reflecting user's purposes and situations. Since previously proposed geographic domain thesauruses and co-existence relations have many ambiguities in their definitions, this paper describes distinct definition of the thesauruses and extends application area of co-existence rules. Furthermore, new concept of user's situations and co-existence rule sets is introduced. By utilizing mapping functions between them, our object management system can specify co-existence rules which are suitable for the user's situations. Because multiple applications of co-existence rules may retrieve a geographic object which can not satisfy user's objectives, this paper proposes an algorithm by utilizing similarity among co-existence rule sets.
