A review of import data for October and months prior, combined with the latest steel price movements suggests to us that domestic pricing is on the rise. While this phenominon is not unique to just one category of product, we will use a high volume segment as an example. Import volumes in this and other categories have been moving higher as have import prices to the point where import prices are now above our best information on where domestic prices are – particulary when you include the S232 tariff.
