Corporate Maintenance Management System

摘要

Maintenance management in practical term means keeping the plant in the best shape for optimum performance, reducing unscheduled shutdown to minimum by proper preventive, predictive and on-line maintenance using diagnostic techniques and carrying out advanced maintenance programmes like improvement, modification, replacement and modernisation in a planned manner with high standards of quality and reliability. For successful maintenance management, organisational set-up, maintenance techniques and skills are pre-requisite. This article reviews the elements of maintenance management system at GSFC, Baroda. Development and upgradatlon of maintenance and inspection system are dealt with in detail besides providing guidelines and troubleshooting for equipments.
