The production of both N & P recorded a decline of 5.4 % and 16.3% respectively during the year 2007-08. The production of N was lower by 62,200 tonnes at 10.903 million tonnes compared to 11.525 million tonnes during 2006-07. The production of p decreased from 4.440 million tonnes to 3.714 million tonnes during the same period.
