Process Safety Implementation at Coromandel, Visakhapatnam

The Process Safety Management system is both documentation and implementation. Action orientation and focus on performance coupled with avoiding of verbal communication made all the difference in taking PSMS to a new level in the Visakhapatnam Unit. A sense of ownership for process safety, multi-dimensionally, across the unit can reveal gaps through different perspectives and bridging those gaps can render the system bigger and stronger. Coromandel, Visakhapatnam adopted the Process Safety Managment System 13 years ago. The article gives in detail the Process Safety Management System implementation and the benefit derived over the years.
