National Fertilizers Limited (NFL)-the leading producers of nitrogenous fertilizers in the country with a market share of about 16 per cent in Urea production, has declared dividend of Rs. 51.51 crore for the financial year 2009-10 at its 36th Annual General Meeting held on 9th September, 2010. During 2009-10, NFL has recorded sales turnover of Rs. 5091.34 crore with a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs. 259.95 crores. The Profit After Tax achieved is Rs. 171.51 crore as against Rs. 97.46 crore achieved during 2008-09. The Company is consistently making profits.
