GSFC's Young Farmers Training Programme

Since 1986, Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. (GSFC), Vadodara is organizing 8 days intensive residential Young Farmers Training Programme in collaboration with various Agricultural Universities of Gujarat. So far 98 such programme has been organized in which around 3000 young farmers from 2760 villages have taken the advantage. The young farmers are given training of scientific agricultural practices to get more farm productivity with the use of advanced technology and balanced use of fertilisers. By such efforts, farmers can be motivated to use new farm technology in place of traditional technology. Initial three days, training is imparted by the scientists of Agricultural University of respective area. Four days theorical and practical training at various units of GSFC Agro Development and Agro Services Department and one day field trip to the Agri. Research Station & Krishi Vigyan Kendra are organised.
