AbstractThe wave‐form relaxation method (WRM) is an essential tool to compute the solution of an initial value problem for a broad class of large systems of differential algebraic equations in a reasonable CPU time. In this paper we give a sufficient condition for the convergence of the WRM which is more suitable for applications than that given by Lelarasmeeet al.
