Speciality Fertiliser for Improving Crop Yield and Produce Quality

Of late, country is experiencing the second generation problems of soil degradation, deficiency of secondary and micronutrients in the soil, declining crop response ratio to additional doses of fertilisers, stagnation in crop yield etc. which are seriously affecting the farm incomes and in turn the economic growth of the country as a whole. Site specific nutrient management can sustain high crop production in diverse soil, crops and climatic conditions. Concerted and collaborative efforts of all concerned would be needed to propagate the use of speciality fertilisers like 100% water soluble fertilisers, customized fertilisers, fortified and value added fertilisers with secondary and/or micronutrients to increase agricultural productivity and farmer's profitability on sustained basis. Speciality fertilisers offer a potential in ensuring precise nutrient management resulting higher crop yield and its quality, farm income and improve environment quality as well.
