Novatek Buys Stake In Vysotsk LNG

Novatek this week clinched a deal to buy 51 in a project aimed at building a 660,000 ton/yr Vysotsk LNG plant in northwestern Russia, a move that fulfils the private gas producer's ambitions on the LNG bunkering market (NC May18'17). The top Russian independent gas producer said on Jul. 18 that it had bought the stake in the Cryogas- Vysotsk project company from Gazprombank, which will retain a 48.98 interest. Novatek did not disclose the price and declined to provide details.
