Production of N at 0.938 million metric tonnes (MMT) and P2O5 at .327 MMT increased by 4.0% and 5.7%, respectively, during March 2015 over March 2014. Production of all the major fertilisers increased during March 2015 over March 2014. The production of urea, DAP and NP/NPK complex fertilisers increased by 1.4%, 18.1% and 6.2%, respectively, during March 2015 over March 2014. Compared to target, production of N and P2O5 fell short by 89.2 and 25.5 thousand tones, respectively, during March 2015. Capacity utilisation of N and P2O5 increased from 80.3% and 56.6% during March 2014 to 83.2% and 59.9%, respectively, during March 2015.
